There is much to love about Bristol: the suspension bridge, the SS Great Britain, the docks, its out-sized contribution to popular music, the Balloon Fiesta, the Downs, its willingness to confront its troubling history, its sense of community, its creativity… and its history-themed pub quizzes.
In the absence of a real-life pub quiz, SHP Fellows (@mrsthorne) and Rich Kennett (@kenradical) are hosting a free, virtual history pub quiz on Sunday 26th April. You can play on your own OR with others in teams of no more than four. The quiz, supported by the Historical Association, Euro Clio and SHP, will be live streamed on Zoom on April the 26th at 7pm with the winners being revealed the following day.
All you will need to take part is a way to watch our Zoom live stream and a way to communicate with your team if you have one. Each team will elect one member to submit their answers via a Google Form (the link will be supplied on the day of the quiz) once each round ends.
