This summer we will be returning to a 3-day conference with 40 workshops for primary and secondary history teachers as well as 2 for Sixth Form students, 3 keynote lectures, a fringe session and opportunities to meet the exam boards. We will also be having a musician in residence and a poet in residence as well as the return of our Saturday Night Extravaganza!
35 years of running the SHP Summer Conference means we know the power of giving teachers space and time to really build a community of practice and make lifelong connections. This is why we have always offered food and accommodation as an integral part of our ticket price, and not as an added extra. We also know how tight budgets are. SHP makes no profit from the cost of food and accommodation. You won’t find a cheaper all-inclusive teacher conference anywhere in the UK. For those who are unable to stay at Leeds Trinity, there is still the option to purchase a day ticket which also comes with all meals included.
