This summer we will be hosting a 3-day conference with 46 workshops for primary and secondary history teachers as well as 2 superb keynotes, a roundtable discussion on History and Interdisciplinarity, a packed fringe session and opportunities to meet the exam boards.
New for this year is our space for ‘Bildung’ a concept that enables participants to find time to reflect, share, collaborate, create and just be. We will be joined by artist and historian Paula Ogun Hector who will be offering space to create your own historical tapestries, as well as local history walks, and a space for some free writing to stimulate your reflections on the conference. On Friday night, we are again going to be joined by Leeds poet Natalie Davies who will be performing some of her latest work for us.
