Using recent research to inform planning

This article builds on Banham and Hall’s 2012 research project that aimed to promote curiosity, intrinsic motivation and a greater degree of independence amongst their A Level students.
During the last academic year they have built on this project; incorporating additional research and applying some of the key principles to GCSE as well as A Level.
